| NEW PAN DESIGNS & FIXINGS. |
| Sanitary ware manufacturers now produce WC pans/bidets with 1cm diameter, vertical fixing holes
combined with the pan shape, excessively long/large fixing screws, and confinement of space
make it almost impossible to secure the pan to the floor and impossible to remove it and carry
out cost-effective plumbing repairs or decorative improvement. |
• The bowl shape eliminates any access for the installer to drill and secure the pan, he is working blind at all times.
• The excessively long-large fixing
screws prevent any kind of simple fixing solution. |

 |
| Fischer type: WC pan vertical fixing for concrete and wood floors.
|
• Wood floor as to be pre-drilled
before the pan can be fixed with
the large, coach type fixing bolt
or the long countersunk screw.
• Wood floors are 25mm thick, the excessively long fixing screws can protrude through the floor by as
much as 40mm causing possible damage to pipes and wiring unseen under the floorboards. |
 |
 |
 |
• Concrete/composite floors, require a hole drilling with an 8mm masonry drill to a depth of 40mm to accommodate the plug for the fixing screw/bolt to secure the pan.
• This phase of the job is difficult and time and time consuming. Plumbers will not use this type of fixing.
• Installing and fixing a WC pan/bidet with just 2 screws should be simple, straightforward and uncomplicated. |

BFL WC pan-bidet fixings eliminate all the above problems. |
